"Had been here on a Sunday for lunch booked on Swiggy dine out. The taste of dishes have to be improved alot it did not have spice all the dishes we ordered were bland wish it was spicy or had some spice in it. However would like to let people know that service is not slow the service would be only slow if you go when it’s crowded so please disregard all the comments on slow serving as the people went there on a crowded day Ordered 1. Machine soup - it was Okaish not that spicy even when it was mentioned spicy so should be made more spicy 2. Masala papad - the papad had only red chilli powder and chat masala and as soon as you eat u cough and sneeze thats not how a spicy food should be 3. Crispy corn - tasted good but had a lot of oil would taste good if the oil used is less 4. Stuffed panner tikka - again this dish was bland had no salt or spice in it could be improved alot 5. Veg Sizzler - again this dish was bland had no salt or spice in it the sizzler’s i had in a different branch of 1947 was very good and better 6. Banaras lassi - trust me this was one of the worst lassi I had in my life it was just curd mixed there was no sugar or anything also the curd tasted sour I am very very disappointed really not worth the money paid. 7. Hot chocolate brownie cake - just for the name sake it is hot chocolate brownie cake when it was served it was very cold had to send it back to be reheated again no point in paying the money for this dish 8. Gulkand Ice cream - tasted really good however felt it’s very costly for one single scoop Overall I would like to say the resturant needs to improve their cooking skill and their tastes because the 1947 in Koramangala served absolutely great with foods served as per our needs And regarding the service would recommend everyone to go before it is crowded as service becomes slow when it’s crowded. Dishes are Okaish the prices are high for al carte menus and they need to improve their taste. Would also recommend to reserve and pay from Swiggy dine out as there is a lot of discount..."

"This is one of the very famous and old restaurants in Bengaluru I guess. Its ambience is ok ok. We dind’t like the food much. Taste was average. We ordered paneer sholey tikka in starter that was very basic and not worth the cost. Then main course we ordered Lahori mushroom sabji with lachha paratha and basmati rice. The sabji was semi gravy which was good spicy but nothing new. Price is quite high as per taste I would say. Place is good to have family dinner. Not much recommended."

"The best place to taste some authentic veg cuisine, some post recipes, some unique dishes, and enjoy with your loved ones. We ordered Mango Lassi and watermelon Cooler, both were so refreshing drinks. We loved the starters, specially the paneer rolls in Manchurian styled and corn spinach Fingers. The taste was really delicious and mouthwatering. In the main course, we had kashmiri naan, paneer Kurchan and stuffed kulcha. Such outstanding combination. One must try their special recipes from independence era, the dessert was super delicious, gulab jamun dipped in thick rabdi. Wow, it melted in the mouth. Glad to see that they have quite a huge crowd and they were managing quite well. The service and hospitality was very impressive."

"Food was good but the service wasn't. Delay in both taking orders and delivering. The atmosphere wasn't good enough to accommodate and the ambience wasn't attractive. Disappointed with the Mango milkshake, they've provided the ice cream shake instead of real Mango as they said while ordering (Thanks to Waiter, who removed this item from the bill)..."
