Planning your visit to The Urban Turban in Bengaluru? Keep a few things in mind for the best experience. The rich Punjabi dishes can be quite hearty, so maybe save it for a special treat rather than an everyday meal if you’re health-conscious. Be aware that chicken gravies can be “super spicy,” packed with green chillies, so ask about spice levels if you prefer milder flavors. "Foods are rich as punjabi dishes happen to be. If you are health conscious, you may not super like this place. But it tastes good and its okay to be there once In a month. Food are good. But i think the staff are not trained that much. I often see them lost in between. Otherwise its a quite good place to visit."

"We got this recommendation on a Reddit thread and they said this is one of authentic North Indian dhaba style restaurant. At first the decor and the lights and seating is maybe slightly unusual but my friend and I enjoyed the weird tyre chairs and drew and with a wooden board for sitting. We ordered a lot of veg items than non veg and we realised the the Jon veg is a bit and a miss and not great. Veg : we tried the urban turban stuffed paneer tikka and it was the highlight of the evening it was super delicious. Naan, kulchas, paneer curry dishes and the dal Lakhan’s was absolutely delicious. Non veg: the chicken patiala had a weird indo Chinese taste and was very bad. Chicken starters were average nothing too great. We didn’t go for any curries given the starters and the patiala was a flop Beverages : masala coke is refreshing and the buttermilk is yummy We went during the World Cup so they had these really fun cricket players placards in the entrance. Also they play loud punjabi music hits so it’s kinda fun!"
