"I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Zest with my partner, and it truly turned out to be a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience struck me as something special—elegant, luxurious, and yet very warm and welcoming. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, creating just the right atmosphere for a perfect dining experience, whether for a celebration or simply a relaxed meal. One of the highlights for me was the quality of service. Zest assigns a dedicated server to each table, which makes the experience feel very personal and attentive. Our server was polite, helpful, and ensured that every detail was taken care of, right from helping us with menu suggestions to serving dishes promptly. It added a touch of exclusivity that made the evening feel even more special. Coming to the food, I absolutely loved the taste and presentation. Every dish was prepared with finesse, and you could tell that a lot of care goes into the flavors and quality. It was not just a meal, but an experience to relish. We booked our table through Zomato and also got a 50% discount, which made the entire dining even more delightful and value for money. "We went on a day in Oct 2025 and there was a Kerala buffet ONLY. Disappointed that a-la-carte was not available...but was happy with the food that we had. The buffet food price was 1899+taxes/person. And we got a discount of 50%. Food was the best part, but also the service was good. Junia who greeted us also explained what was available and Pooja who was in charge of the restaurant gave a complimentary orange juice for my kid. We were served starters on the table and rest we were free to get. The green chicken and basa fry was the best amongst the starters. Also bangda fry, Veg cutlet, paneer, babycorn fry was good. The rice dishes, of coconut rice, biryani, matta rice, all were appetizing. Overall it was a good dinning experience that we had. There can be some parking issue even for bikes but I could somehow find a place to park at the back side of the hotel."

"The ambience and food were excellent; however, the service needs significant improvement. Despite the restaurant being almost empty (only two tables occupied), the service staff appeared lethargic and disengaged. Nobody approached our table to check if we needed anything—for example, repeat snacks, hot water, mint chutney, or clearing plates. We had to call someone every time for assistance. Ironically, when we went to pick up food from the buffet, staff members came and asked if everything was okay. The restaurant manager should take charge and guide the service team to be more attentive, ensuring staff stay near the tables and provide proactive service. While the food was excellent, the service definitely requires improvement."

"Located inside Hotel Southern Star at Lavelle Road in the hearty of Bengaluru city, Zest must be one of the best places to have a hearty meal. My partner and I visited the restaurant for lunch on April 19, 2025 (Sunday) primarily to change our taste and experience fine dining at its absolute best. We opted for Lunch Buffet, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Both the starters and main course items were simply delectable. While the non-vegetarian items were expectedly good, the vegetarian dishes were definitely better. However, what clinched the day for both of us was the quality and variety of dessert items. The service was also smooth, and the restaurant has an exceptionally clean and enjoyable ambience. I am sure that we shall have enough reasons to visit this place once again soon enough. Just one request - kindly reduce the usage of red chili powder in some of the starter items. Keep up the excellent work Team Zest!"
