"Freedom Park has well-maintained gardens and greenery, making it a nice spot for children to play, for walking, and for relaxing with family. However, the historical buildings are in very poor condition and lack proper upkeep, which is disappointing if you're visiting mainly for its heritage value. Great for leisure, but not the best choice for a historical site visit."

"Need much maintenance, people are freely roaming but mis utilising and destroying the beauty of this park, old prison. On the other side there is a good automated parking centre which is run by RIGHT PARKING but it's useful. That side entrance having no sign boards or nothing...cross the playground and come to freedom park....by asking those child players. Have seen two policemen and some security guards simply enjoying, roaming here and there. But they couldn't do much anything. Authorities have to do some things plannings for the great innovative ideas here..it's a good place in the midst of Bengaluru City."

"Amazing transformation of what was earlier the central prison. Loved the fact that some of the old structures like the prison watch tower have been maintained for people to get that 'old' feel. The park is well made, well maintained including the small play area for kids, clean toilets and a state-of-the-art parking space. Attending the Bangalore Dastkar exhibition in the Freedom Park was an added bonus."

"Really a good place for evenings. Reminder about the life before freedom and its pain. The prison, barracks, theatres are maintained with its realities. When I got there and explored the place I knew that the movie 'Big Brother' was shot there. It gave me more excitement."
