"More than a review it's a complaint: Openhouse - jayanagar Topic - Removal of kids favourite teacher It came to my notice that management has decided to remove Ms. Sinchana (As per my discussion with most of parents, she is being one of kids favourite teacher). She is being the nicest teacher openhouse can have. Kid friendly, creative and very good in teaching. We as a parents would like to convey to management that they recall their decision in the intrest of kids."

"My son is thoroughly enjoying his time at the open. It's a wonderful environment for learning and interaction. I've noticed he's gradually becoming more vocal and expressive. The teachers(Monia and Sinchana) are incredibly approachable and skilled at nurturing each child's talents. On a less happy note, I heard that Sinchana is planning to leave for a new opportunity. It's disheartening to hear that someone as talented as her is considering moving on. I sincerely hope she reconsiders and stays—her contributions could make this place even more exciting and enriching for the kids"

"This is a review solely for the birthday party we organised for our son's 5th Birthday few weeks back. We took the following services from Openhouse and following is our experience in each of the areas: 1. Decoration - A hefty amount was charged for a very basic decoration which could be easily done through an outside vendor at much cheaper rates. We had shared images of the theme we were looking to have and the decoration did not meet the expectations. Only a background arch with balloons was set up with a table for cake cutting. Very little efforts put in by the team in this aspect. 3/10 2. Food - The per plate rate charged for kids and adults was the same and the food quality was very very average. Pasta was overcooked. Noodles was oily and the starters were pretty average. Since it was a kid's party, even bland food was thankfully not a downer but we expected better in terms of quality. There were no dedicated persons for food service and offering drinks to guests. It was done by the building security and definitely they are not trained or expected to do these activities. 5/10 3. Activities - Activities were the major focus for us while zeroing in on Openhouse as the venue for the birthday party. In the planning phase we got an elaborate list of activities which looked quite promising. However on the day of the event there were only two teachers who could not keep the kids engaged. There was no flow of the activities and the kids were just taken to a room which did not keep them occupied for long. Considering the biggest chunk of the party was the activity both in terms of time and money, this was a real let down. 1/10 Overall there was only one SPOC who was doing the adult engagement, coordinating for the food, checking with the kids for their activities hence it could not be managed properly. They lack resources to manage such an event and we were pretty disappointed on how the party was handled. Request not to take further bookings for birthday parties until these issues are straightened out. Overall rating -3/10"

"Experience was not as good as expected.Took my son for a holi activity, the story telling lasted not more than 2 minutes, though that was one of the marketing points. Kids who have grand parents in the house don’t need these heavily marketed events. Other tasks like Rangoli and flower was relatively better."

"My daughter enjoyed her summer vacation experience at OH Jayanagar, while she was visiting her grandparents from USA. The staff was so kind to put together a custom package to fit our needs. My daughter was so excited to be with other Indian kids on her trip to India. She was specially attracted to her social time in the ball pit. The teachers and staff were instrumental in making her feel very integrated and at home. The curriculum was extremely well thought out and my daughter was very eager to go to her classes everyday. This in turn made my vacation very enjoyable and fuss free. Thank you so much OH for making it a great experience for all! We will definitely come back to take classes on our next summer visit to Bangalore."
