"Update: Recently one more place has been added in the park by DECORA. It’s for special children only. That means normally abled children are not allowed to use. That’s why the tape is covered around. For the maintenance of this park, all Defence colony residents had contributed and raised fund through many events, wish any child would enjoy and treat things well in the park. It’s good place to play for kids, very spacious and safe too. Not only rides also there’s wide ground attached, anyone can play all kind of sports. There are rides for babies and toddlers, that’s different from other children’s parks. It has a sand pit as well."

"Defence Colony, Indiranagar is a medium-sized neighbourhood in east Bangalore, Karnataka, India. A cosmopolitan locality, Indiranagar is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Bangalore. Indiranagar has the Defence Colony Playground, located next to the Defence Colony Children's Park and the Old People's Park; the Defence Colony Park maintained by DECORA is close by. There were two entrances at the front and the back. Both the entrances were flat making the accessibility easier for the older and differently abled people. This being a children’s park had all the different kinds of playing equipment. There was a pavement all around the park for walking, running and jogging. Seating spaces were provided all around the park at regular intervals. The park had dustbins and were maintained well. It had an attached paved ground for other activities. Both the side walls of the park were painted with bright colors making it more attractive and welcoming for the children. Lighting during the day is natural, the park lamps are used after 6pm. This park is fenced all around making it a safer environment. This is definitely one of the best parks for your children!"
