"The water dam wasn't open to the public, but the nearby spots were wonderful to explore. The scenic views and peaceful surroundings made it a perfect destination for a refreshing morning drive. Lush green, nearby fish shops selling fried fishes and hills make it worth travel and explore."

"Dam entry is not allowed but it's not an issue. Cross the dam entrance and towards downhill after like 100-200 meters you have a parking spot with fish shops. Can park here. You get good fresh fish fry and some fried rice in these shops. Fish fry starts at 70₹, 100₹, 150₹ etc. Water bottles are available. You may find people drinking beer etc but it wasn't much of a bother. On weekends there are lot of families with kids etc. Couldn't see any toilets. Then you can actually trek down to the dam where the water flows. Or you get drive down another 100-200 meters and there is another place from where you can trek for 10 mins to reach the dam area aa you can see in the pictures. Lot of picnic and cooking spots. Can dip in the waters too in some shallow areas."

"Decent place to go for a peaceful drive. However, the exact location or the dam area is not that great. I didn't experience a clean place, but still went near the stream to see the view. You can check the picture. You can still visit the place for a drive. Doesn't have many things to explore."

"Manchanabele Dam is a hidden gem for anyone who loves nature, peace, and scenic views. Located just a short drive from Bangalore, it offers a perfect weekend getaway from the city's chaos. The drive itself is quite scenic, and once you arrive, the calm waters surrounded by lush hills create a truly serene atmosphere. Great spot for photography, picnics, and just relaxing by the water. Just a heads-up: swimming is not allowed, and it's best to pack your own snacks or water, as there are limited facilities nearby. Respect the environment—please don't litter! Overall, Manchanabele Dam is a peaceful and beautiful place that's definitely worth a visit if you're in or around Bangalore."
